Before POSH Luxuries, before POSH Parenthood, there were classrooms. Libraries. Families in the middle of the hardest and most joyful seasons of their lives — new babies, milestone moments, transitions — who needed someone with both the expertise and the heart to meet them where they were.
Dr. Shanelle Bolton has spent more than two decades in education leadership, working with families from birth through kindergarten, designing programs that put the caregiver at the center of child development. She holds a Doctorate in Education, a Master of Science in Teaching, and a Master of Library Science — three degrees that inform everything from how she curates a POSH Book Bar to how she runs a POSH Nannies event.
POSH Luxuries was born from a simple observation: the most important moments in people's lives — baby showers, weddings, milestone birthdays — were being served by vendors who showed up, set up, and left. Nobody was asking what the experience meant. Nobody was building something that connected celebration to purpose.
That gap is what POSH Luxuries fills. Every experience bar, every POSH Nannies event, every book thoughtfully curated for a new baby's library — each one is rooted in the same belief that has guided Dr. Bolton's career: that the people around children are as important as the children themselves.
